Michael asks…
Teeth whitner – have you sucessfully used the product Celebrity Sexy Teeth before?
My teeth are already sensitive, so I am looking for a product that doesn’t make it worse, yet my teeth are whiter. I have braces right now so a dentist type treatment is not an option.
I found this website and I am not sure if it is an advertisement, fake, or what: http://www.best-teeth-whitening.com/
I would love to hear from those of you who have tried it….did you buy it on-line?
Hoping for a brighter smile!
Thanks!

I love celebrity sexy teeth!
I hate the name, it makes the product seem cheesy and unsafe, but it actually is great!
I was also weary to try it because i have Sensitive Teeth, but i trusted their claim to help strengthen enamel and cause no sensitivity pains. Well, it’s been a month now and i’ve used it 5 times a week (but for about 15 minutes each time instead of the few minutes they say) and my teeth ARE SPARKLING!
I can noticeably see Whiter Teeth. My boyfriend and i wish we had taken before and after pictures!
I don’t have braces, so i’m not sure if that would affect anything and i would ask your orthodontistt…. But other than that i HIGHLY recommend celebrity sexy teeth!!!!

Mandy asks…
A few questions regarding Laser Teeth Whitening..?
I’m considering getting my teeth laser whitened. I don’t smoke, drink wine, and I will stop drinking coke & coffee.
How long should the whiteness last for under these conditions? What can I do to keep them staying bright?
With only laser whitening (& possibly take home trays), Can I achieve that celebrity bright smile?
Thanks
PS – Please don’t tell me to save my money and do the whitening toothpaste or Crest White strips. I am only interested in laser whitening – I have the money, that’s not a problem.

“Laser whitening” is a bit of a waste of money unless you’re getting married the next day. The laser has no effect, it just looks high-tech, and you pay for it.
Really, it is the higher concentration of bleach that works, and has nothing to do with the laser. Split-mouth studies have been done which show this. This higher concentration of bleach also dehydrates the teeth, so you get a quicker, whiter look, but if this is all you do, then there is a significant relapse as the teeth rehydrate.
For a good lasting change, bleaching works best as a take-home technique where it is done more slowly over a longer period of time than “lasers”. This is probably why the above ‘Manda M’ got a better result than her brother.
I’d suggest a 10% Carbamide Peroxide bleach worn as a tray overnight. I’ve given some patients the faster-acting hydrogen peroxide, but the results haven’t been as good.
The moral: a quick fix is not always the best fix.

Nancy asks…
Tooth Whitening?
I really need tooth whitening tips.
I use rinse, I brush twice a day usually, but the stains don’t go away.
I have recently been told about “Celebrity Sexy Smile“, a tooth whitening product that causes no sensitivity. But since it’s $100 I need to have someone who has used it tell me it work’s at the very least… If not…
I’m going to resort to either Crest or Listerine whitening whichever I’m told works better… But they cause massive damage to your enamel n cause alot of sensitivity I hear… I’m willing to take the sensitivity if its temporary…
Please help!

Research and clinical studies show that Teeth Whitening Procedures involving the use of hydrogen peroxide and performed by a board-certified cosmetic dentist are safe for both the teeth and gums.
In the dentist office ask about ZOOM
other alternatives…
Professional Teeth whitening (about 1 hour per treatment, 1 or more appointments)
Teeth Whitening Strips (7 to 14 days per kit, 30 minutes 2 times per day)
Tray-based teeth whitening with hydrogen peroxide gel (1 to 2 hours per day for several days or weeks. Custom trays take additional time to deliver)
Tray-based teeth whitening with carbamide peroxide gel (2 to 4 hours per day or overnight, for several days or weeks. Custom trays take additional time to deliver)
