Neglect friction and air resistance. What must be the height h of the first hill so that the skier just loses contact with the snow at the crest of the second hill?
1st On the 2nd hill centrifugal force = weight
so v^2/ r = g where r=38 g= 10
2nd, conservation of energy
1/2 m v^2 + mg height-of-2nd-hill = mg * height-of-1st hill
Plug in v from 1st part and there you go.
