crowns improperly cemented. Need undamaged removal?
Two years ago my dentist did a poor job of cementing my crowns in place. Now that I went to a new dentist, he says that they are leaking. He will try and remove them the old fashioned way with his slap-hammer gripping tool. Probably will ruin them. He doesn’t want to spring for the Metalift crown remover, or anything else that salvages dental work. I’ve contacted Metalift for a list of local dentists, but, alas, no reply. I need to remove them, as they are mal-odorous now. Any ideas? Thank you…
i had the same problem-went back to the dentist and i think he damage my existing tooth…and now i feel that is something wrong again. not much choice besides getting a bridge. not happy about it! sorry for the news- i hope they can still salvage your existing tooth if not infected yet, Cox you’ll probably need a root canal before they put it back.but you definitely need that taken care before you do more damage and take care bad breath lol…sorry dealing to the same problem right now,i thought im looking for advice but ins ted giving advice. what you need to do is to go back there to asked to fix the problem, this kind of work need to guarantee at least 5 to 7 yrs or more…if his not you tell him you will filled complain from dental association. but make sure your not sounds harassing be nice and asked to fix the problem that he did to your tooth and when he denied that’s when you say that you will file a complain. the ethic law in dental they cannot ignore the existing patient that having a problem to the work that they did. they called abandonment they need to fix it! so try to be nice Coz if you say bad words they have the right to denied you Coz of behaviour, so be nice and try. hope you get it fix im going to the same thing and its giving me anxiety. take care!
