Best Method for teeth whitening?

I’m finally getting my braces removed tomorrow, and was told to wait 2 weeks before getting them laser whitened. The thing is, the reviews don’t appeal to me. Many reviewers comment that it’s painful, and does more damage than reported. I’m contemplating this method, and would like to hear the second best scenario for this treatment?

I wouldn’t do the laser stuff. I would go with the bleaching at the dentist. Its safer and its been around for much longer.
