need some information on Tooth Whitening please………..?

has anyone had thier teeth whitened by laser treatment? or do you know anyone who has? need a few questions answered…… do you know of any ones with a good reputation world wide over( i live in the united kingdom) why are some more expensive than others for the same tecnique? can you tell a big difference after having them done? do you have a choice in whiteness , for e.g will it cost me more to have my teeth as white as they will go? what is the average price? why are some more expensive than others for the same treatment?i would be very grateful for any sensible answers. i am soon to celebrate a mile stone birthday, and this will be a birthday treat from my family.

in the U.S. the average price is $200-$600. Its a UV light that works in combination with the gel that whitens your teeth. I do this procedure at work all the time. Basically everyones teeth are different some are darker than others, some are thicker… etc. The procedure can get you up to 8 shades whiter, but that does not mean it will. It depends on your teeth, how well the teeth will absorbe the light and the gel. I’ve noticed this more on the people that have thicker teeth, and usually because thicker teeth need more time w/ the whitening process, but you can’t do no more than 4 sessions at once because it can make your teeth very sensitive. In cases like that we provide the patient w/ Whitening Trays and bleach to do at home. So they shouldn’t charge you any more than what you first payed. Some are more expensive than others and let me tell you that they are all the same techniques, its up to the person to charge what they want, some places have specials so look around for the best. But I will tell you that this will show a big difference from before to after, just maintain it by doing touch ups at home, you can have the office make you the whitening trays.
