Is there any possible way to Whiten Teeth in a week?

Without: Whitening products such as toothpaste,Strips ect, Baking soda, Salt, laser treatment.

Crest White-strips are amazing – try those and then maintain them with Listerine pre-brush rinse. I do this and get so many compliments on my really White Teeth. I am not sure where you are located but you could also go to a mall Bright Smile type store. My husband went there and $200 and an hour later he had white teeth.

Two questions in one.. yellow tooth, white tongue?

I have an extremely discolored front tooth. It looks awful. For years I have tried every tooth whitening toothpastes, strips, dentist whitening visit and 2 laser whitening treatments. The dentist and laser treatment worked for a few days then the tooth went back to yellow.. anyone can give me any ideas as to what i can do to keep it white or at least semi white?
Now the tongue.. i have been experiencing a white thrush with odor on my tongue for years.. anyone can help me on how to get rid of it?

Hi there! I work at a dental office so I have a couple of suggestions for you. I am surprised that the tooth ever bleached at all. If the tooth has had a root canal, you could ask your dentist about a procedure called internal bleaching. This bleaches the tooth from the inside out. It is not always successful and usually requires more than one session. My number one recommendation would be either a laminate veneer or cosmetic bonding that would completely reface the tooth. And for what you’ve already probably spent on bleaching it would be a bargain! For the tongue issue you should really ask your dentist. If you are a smoker, STOP! It could be something harmless, but treatable with an Oral Rinse. They do make tongue scrapers that remove excess debris from the tongue. There is brand called BreathRx that has a whole line of tongue sprays, antibacterials etc. That may help. Usually you can find the line at most major pharmacies. Hope this helps!

Does professional teeh whitening work?

I have been pondering on getting my teeth whitened, i have heard the most effective method is laser treatment. I’ve tried all the over the counter crap, they don’t work. Hope someone out there can help.

It works for sure. I had my teeth whitened at the dentists. They made these little impression trays of my teeth and gave me some kind of a solution to put into them and wear them overnight. The dentist told me that my teeth will be really white in 2 weeks. I did it for 4 days and my teeth got like 3 shades lighter. It was amazing. THe only problem is….your gums get irritated and then hot, cold, air anything pretty much irritates your teeth. But that goes away and the little bit of suffering is ok in the end.

What is a legit way to whiten my teeth?

I brush 3 times a day and have used all different kinds of products, but my teeth are not responding… Is there something that I can do that ISN’T a $2,000 laser treatment?

Hi RJ,

Brushing your teeth can only keep your teeth clean but it could not whiten it as your teeth already discolor and brushing it will not remove it! Usually, if you use the Teeth Whitening Products, as they do contain bleaching agents, should be able to remove the stains effectively! However, if you tried most of these products and still not work out for you, I think you should consult your dentist as I believe it might not be the stain!

Just for your information, I have discolor teeth as well, but after I used the teeth whitening product, my teeth gradually turn back to white without any problem!
