Mandy asks…

Long last teeth whitening?

I have tried whitening products in the past and they didn’t work at all, total waste of money.
I also read online that sometimes when you spent like…$500 on laser whitening, it only lasts a couple of years even if you don’t drink wine, coffee, tea…etc before your teeth start to stain again.

I was wondering if you know of any products/treatments that I can get which will actually whiten my teeth and make it last, I don’t want to have to constantly use these products to ensure my teeth are white and obviously I can’t make my teeth white any other way.

Baking soda it brilliant for teeth whitening.
My teeth became stained because of tea.coffee etc. And i was reccomened to brush my teeth with baking soda twice a day. The stains have actually faded :)

How do I whiten my fangs?

I’ve noticed that my two fangs are more yellowish than the rest of my teeth. Any suggestions or tips on how I can whiten them? I mean, I’ve realized if I go to the dentist’s for a laser whitening treatment, I don’t think they would agree to just whiten the fangs, and honestly, I’m content with the color of the rest of my teeth. It’s just the fangs I’m having issues with.

Crest Night Effects (if it’s still out there). I used it a few years ago, not the “neatest” product but I saw results. It is a brush application which means you can brush it on only the canines. And you sleep with it on, brush it off in the morning. May take several applications as I’m not sure how potent the whitening agent is.

How can I make my teeth whiter…?

Without buying any of the whitening treatments or the laser whitening? I’m a college kid, and my teeth have gotten really yellow lately…any advice?

I swear by Rembrant Ultra Whitening Strips and toothpaste!!! I used them once about 8 months ago, and my teeth are still gleaming white! I drink coffee and tea all the time too, but they are still bright and shiny! Although, they are discontinued, so it may be a little pricy to find them … But they are sold on ebay. There’s a link to them below!

Hope i helped!

Ps. There is at home solutions, involving dissolving baking soda with salt into water and brushing it on your teeth!!! Google it!

NHS Dentistry – veneers/false teeth?

Hey. I get free dentist treatments because i’m umemployed at the moment and on income support. Ok so i have 2 false teeth and 2 veneers on my 2 front teeth, and i got them for free. I was thinking of getting this laser whitening treatment as i seen a bargain of a price for it (£150) so i thought way hey, get that. coz i can’t get that for free on nhs :( BUT my question was if i do get the teethwhiteing treatment, there might be a chance my false teeth looking duller than my natural teeth. SO i’ll probs have to get newer whiter false teeth wont i. BUT will i have to pay for them, because its cosmetics reasons? and how much will it be, roughly?
duh, i know false teeth can’t be lightened! did u even read the question! i was asking if u can get false teeth for FREE if ur on NHS if u got ur teeth lightened, coz its under cosmetic reasons.

admin answers:

Any form of false teeth, whether it’s veneers crowns, dentures etc can NEVER BE LIGHTENED. The only way to change their colour is to have them replaced.

If you go ahead with the laser whitening then you will be left with some White Teeth and all the veneers etc will still be the same colour as they were before. If i were you i wouldn’t do it.

Hope that helps
