Opalescence Boost In-Office Teeth Whitening

The whitening gel is applied to the front of teeth, where it remains for up to 15 minutes. Every five minutes or so, the gel is stirred. After another 10 to 15 minutes, the compound is removed and additional Opalescence Boost gel is applied, depending on the whitening results desired.

Most treated teeth continue to whiten for between 12 and 24 hours after treatment, but Dr. Sadineni said she also may have patients use a take-home whitening system until their teeth stabilize to their final color.
