Ruth asks…
Where is the best place to purchase a professional quality Teeth Whitening Kit from on the Internet?
I’m looking for a teeth whitening kit that utilizes lab-created bleaching trays and 22% Carbamide Peroxide gel. I would like for the price to be around $100 if possible. It is also important that it be a reputable online dealer and not some “fly-by-night” reseller. I’m hoping someone, on Yahoo Answers, that has already had a good experience purchasing/using a teeth whitening system from the Internet will point me in the right direction.

There is a reason why they are available from dentists only. If you misuse the product, your teeth will turn a grayish blue color– permanently! I use Supersmile, and it’s very effective. I use it, and it worked so well, I got some for my mom who had very discolored teeth.

Mandy asks…
can i safely put Tooth Whitening gel in my plastic retainer ?
i got a tooth whitening kit online http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Professional-Whitening-Optimized-Formula/dp/B000O3SHF8 ….it came with moldable trays that i dip into boiling water and then mold to my teeth….instead of using these trays can i use my plastic retainer to put the gel in?

If the retainer covers the front of your teeth, like Invisalign, then it would work.

You want to shop around for something with at least 16% carbamide peroxide. I got a kit from my dentist that included custom tooth trays and a large tube of the 16% gel.
It cost me about $250, but the trays will last forever (and they let me keep my tooth molds to save some money should I ever need to get new ones…that’s where the bulk of the cost went), and I can get the gel online for way cheaper…like this stuff:

Does the Liquid Smile Teeth Whitening Pen work?!?
I’m thinking about purchasing one and I’ve only seen good reviews about it online, so far! Has anyone used it before? Alot of websites claim you can acheive the ONE HOUR whitening, normally available at the dentists office, with this pen. Here’s a website I saw that on….
http://www.just4teeth.com/Liquid-Smile-Professional-Whitening-Pen
It says: “For Immediate Results with your liquid smile. Perform your own professional one hour whitening Repeat steps 1-6 (above) every 10 minutes for one hour.”
So just curious to know your opinion! It’s much cheaper than in office whitening and seems to be much More Effective and efficient than the trays so it makes me really curious as to why its inexpensive compared to the other procedures…
Thanks in advance! =)

You will be disappointed and will be wasting your money. If it was that good all the dentists would be using it. Whitening Strips would even be far superior to this.
