accidently used household bleach to whiten my teeth?
I thought it would be a good idea to whiten my teeth with household bleach. I know you’re supposed to go to the dentist, use Whitening Strips etc but I couldn’t be bothered spending the money so I got a good bit of strong thick bleach, cleaned my toilet and then used a sponge to wipe over my teeth. I then rinsed thoroughly not swallowing anything. My teeth are now whiter then they have every been. HOWEVER
So are my gums! And I also have a burnt mouth and lips. I have a gp but don’t know where the surgery is because I’ve never needed to go! Now I dnt think I need to go to the doctor but how long will it take before my gums turn normal again and when will the soreness go?
and no I am not 13, I regret to say I am an English Teacher old enough to know better!
oh dear, find out where your doctors is and go, or go to your local chemist for advice, its likely you’ll blister and its going to hurt, a lot, and you’ll need something to soothe the pain
