Teeth Whitening:Dentist’s Office or at Home?
Teeth stain over the years. Coffee, tea, red wine or cigarette smoke can speed up the process. Although you may floss and brush your teeth on a frequent basis and in spite of your faithful visits to the dentist, your teeth will still stain to some degree.
There are a couple of different solutions. One is to have a professional dentist or hygienist help you. The other is to buy a home kit. A Professional Dental hygienist will be able to determine the best treatment for you.
When you have your teeth whitened professionally, you will be sure to end up with great results. Also, the process will be fast and straightforward. There is no guarantee, however, that you will have very White Teeth; it depends on the original condition of your teeth. Teeth that are stained from within can not always be fully restored to their original whiteness.
Purchasing a do-it-yourself home kit is also one of your choices. It takes about two weeks and does not always get the same result as having it done professionally; but, if the directions are followed, an acceptable result is possible.
Tooth Whitening has become increasingly popular and is provided as a regular service at most dental clinics. Dental clinics have professional hygienists do the whitening. However dentists also often perform the procedure if they do not have a hygienist. Patients who have had Professional Whitening are usually so impressed that, after some time has passed, they return to the dentist for a second treatment, to keep up the bright whiteness of their teeth.
