Top Home Remedies For Teeth Whitening
Baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, soda and salt combined, plain vinegar and fresh strawberries are methods of cleaning teeth the old fashioned way.
while they do work, there are contraindications. Strawberries may work since they are acidic but I doubt if they work any better than any other acidic fruit.
Renata Nyleve Editor of the “Best Teeth Whitening Products” website — http://www.BestTeethWhiteningProducts.info — pointed out;
“…What one could do and still be on the safe side is to leave these remedies to the kitchen and to keep a commercial teeth whitener in the bathroom cabinet alongside a tube of regular toothpaste. You may use soda or hydrogen peroxide in emergencies. That means when you are out of store bought whitener. Why not on a regular basis? Too prolonged and intensive use will damage the enamel of your teeth and gums…”
The commercial whiteners have the right proportions of soda or hydrogen peroxide and regular Tooth Paste. This combination cushions and offsets any harmful effects that might incur to the teeth and gums. A better argument is to buy Whitening Strips and use according to the instructions. Of course these are expensive and may be prohibitive to their use. To contradict that, I say they are not as expensive as dentists and doctors for damaged teeth, gums and mouth tissue.
Contraindications to home Teeth Whitening Remedies
Soda probably does not harm teeth if used cautiously and only periodically. To protect gums and mouth tissue, use with care and stop if any hint of sensitivity occurs. This shouldn’t happen if you use alternately with regular tooth paste. Too, this applies to plain old soda sprinkled on a Tooth Brush and to the commercial preparations.
Hydrogen peroxide may be another story. While generally it is thought to be safe in teeth whitening — the commercial form — the verdict on it being 100% safe is still not in. Absolutely I would say to take a swig of hydrogen peroxide and hold it in the mouth for a minute or longer should never be done. To cleanse a mouth sore, may be an exception, but as a tooth whitener, it is too risky.
“…Hydrogen peroxide works with oxygen and caused free radicals and these are the little monsters that roam around live tissues seeking to find something to devour. Free radicals are unmatched atomic particles that are blamed for cancers and other destructive diseases. Be safe and buy Whitening Tooth paste…” added R. Nyleve.
