Question about teeth whitening and acid erosion?
i really want to get my teeth whitened professionally but i have some acid erosion on my front teeth (the tips of my teeth are transparent) and i’m wondering if they would be strong enough to tolerate whitening. obviously i will ask my dentist but has anyone here with the same problem had their teeth whitened? if so what how did it turn out for you?
i have that problem – but its only the very very very bottoms of my front teeth, and my dentist recommended that I did not get my teeth whitened by peroxide as it would only exacerbate the problem.
on his recommendation i now alternate between pro-enamel toothpaste and blanx whitening and its working a treat. your dentist will also be able to recommend a decent toothbrush (mine was apparently doing nothing, and was too cheap and abrasive to do anything but make my erosion worse)

i was disappointed at first to not get the shiny white quick-fix i was hoping for, but its becoming worth it! x
