Anybody had good results with Zoom Teeth Whitening?

I’m going to have zoom whitening this weekend, and although I’ve wanted it done for ages and I’m excited. I can’t help feeling a little nervous about the whole procedure.

Are the results really good? And what sensitivities did you have during and after treatment?

admin answers:

I had the zoom treatment last summer with fairly good results. The results depend on how dark your teeth are in the first place. The results last longer if you stay away from tooth darkening foods and drinks like chocolate, tea, coffee, berries and red wine. I had some sensitivity that evening, my whole lower face hurt but I didn’t get them to use stuff to make that better until the last 20 minute phase. I recommend that you get that rubbed on with any twinge of pain. It was fine by the next day. Overall I am happy with the results. Good luck.

Alternatives to Zoom teeth whitening system?

Hi,

I read a lot of horror stories abotu how painul Zoom teeth whitening system is and I do not wish to go through this pain since I know my teeth are very sensitive. Does anyone know any alternative methods? Or professional whitening kits at home that I could get from my doctor without the ZOOM thing?

admin answers:

The Ultradent brand of products have a non-sensitivity component in them…..that I have tried (get very sensitive) and works…..You might see if your dentist caries that brand.

Where can I get zoom teeth whitening in Perth?

Has anyone had their teeth whitened using ZOOM in Perth? If so, where did you have it done, how much was it and were you happy with the results?

Im tossing up between this or the at home trays. I would like a faster result.

admin answers:

Zoom is really expensive if you go to a private practice. I think at my office they charge about 700 but sometimes there are specials. But if you google zoom and go to their website i think that you can get a list of dentists that have zoom in their office. And you can call them and see how much each of them charge…
But usually zoom and trays are pretty much come out the same. But it depends on how much you want to spend usually.

Does zoom teeth whitening work?

I want to get my teeth whitened with the zoom teeth whitening system but, don’t want to blow my money if it doesn’t work. Has anybody used it before? Does it work well?

admin answers:

Yes, it works for most people. It won’t lighten teeth that are stained from meds like tetracycline, but most people will get results. It works much faster than whitestrips or trays, althought most dentists will include a set of trays to maintain the whitening.
